All natural mattresses can be very expensive. Why not make your own, with a do-it-yourself mattress kit?

Each kit contains a set of modular, 100% cotton canvas covers you put together to create a mattress. The second lead photo shows the best representation of the canvas fabric (fabric on left).   Detailed instructions are included and you will not need any special tools or skills to construct your mattress, simply fill your covers, tie them shut and twist them together. The Twist mattress shown above is a firm and supportive base layer meant to be used under our buckwheat hull mattress toppers which make the comfort layer.  (Toppers are sold separately).  If you want a mattress that is all-in-one (no need for a topper layer) please see our Twist-Easy Kit.

 

Hulls  are not included in our kits. Visit our DIY tab for help estimating the amounts of hulls you need. We now sell hulls in bulk quantities.  Please read our FAQ page to see if a Twist mattress is for you.  Due to the weight of buckwheat hulls, the King size Twist comes as two Twin Kits, meant to be laid side by side.

 

Mattress Kits are made to order and cannot be returned as they are bedding. Please read through tour FAQ page and fabric care instructions before ordering.  Our current lead time to fabricate your kit is 10-14 business days.  Pdf instructions and template will be delivered via email within 24 hours of placing your order.
